About St Johns

Seventy-five years ago, US Navy Officer Capt. John Webb learned that Bay leaf oil was sacred to Caribbean culture due to its healing nature and rich fragrance. He knew the world would want to benefit from this and developed a cologne that blended the local bay rum with the island’s tropical bay leaf oils and spices. The Virgin Islands’ fishing baskets inspired him to create their iconic hand-woven palm frond bottles. St John’s continues to embrace the Caribbean tradition today.
