Albert Thurston

In 1820, Albert Thurston brought his handmade suspenders to his emporium on 27 Panton Street, Haymarket, London. His premier design featured tightly woven wool that formed the figure of an uppercase H across the wearer’s back. Thirty-one years later, the nation celebrated the Victorian era when the Great Exhibition was held in Hyde Park. Albert Thurston received an Honorable Mention for the excellent standard of their products.
