The Basket Weave Flask by Colonel Conk is an 6 oz. stainless steel flask that slides easily into a jacket or pants pocket. It is curved to fit the hip. This flask has a beautiful basket weave pattern with an area suitable for engraving. Top and bottom are rimmed with a hinged cap. Flask Dimensions: 5 3/8″ x 3 3/4″. Imported.

About Colonel Conk
After the Civil War, Col. Ichabod Conk traveled to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he dated a woman who owned several barber shops. She shaved men’s faces daily, and after Col. Conk married her, he also became proficient in the barbering profession, helping his wife with her customers and keeping her books. Using the entrepreneurial spirit he had always had, Col. Conk had a magnificent idea, “Why can’t I package the products we use every day and sell them across the West?” Thus he became one of the original traveling salesmen, crisscrossing the old West, allowing the men of the frontier to obtain shaving products and toiletries to use on their own. Col. Conk became a wealthy man for that time and continued the business until he died in 1898. After that, his business ceased to exist.

Colonel Conk Products was reborn in 1972 when the legacy brand was discovered. They first built a worldwide reputation for their quality glycerine shave soap, and over the years, they expanded to a full line of quality shaving products, flasks, and gift sets.
