The Chestnut Thumbstick with Bark by Classic Canes is a very traditional hiking stick. Made from chestnut wood with bark intact. This staff has an attractive color and texture and features a natural ‘V’ in the wood, which forms a convenient place to rest one’s thumb whilst grasping the stick. The ferrule is a ‘Combi-ferrule’: a rubber ferrule fitted over a spiked one, so that the staff may be used on both hard and soft surfaces. Overall height: 51″. Weight: 385g. Made in England.

About Classic Canes
Classic Canes is a British family business established in 1982 by Ben and Diana Porter. Charlotte, the managing director, is their daughter and has worked at Classic Canes since 2003. She is the artist behind many of their patterned walking sticks and canes. They are based in Somerset, England.
