The Clothes Brush by Abbeyhorn is handcrafted using pearwood and natural hog bristles. The wood is backed with oxhorn that has been polished to a soft shine. The natural bristles are much kinder to clothes and are therefore less likely to cause damage. Each brush is unique and color will vary. Engraved Cable Car Clothiers logo. Length: 7″. Abbeyhorn was founded in 1749 by G J Humpherson in Bewdley, Worcestershire, renowned for the best quality cattle. Known then as “‘The Horn Works Bewdley,” the Humpherson family ran the business for almost 200 years. Today, Abbeyhorn artisans still use traditional skills, handed down over generations to produce a stunning range of gifts from Ankole Cow Horn and Red Deer Antler. Abbeyhorn’s raw materials are ethically sourced; the Cow Horn is a by-product of the meat industry in Nigeria, and the naturally shed Red Deer Antler is from Scotland, which would be discarded. With no two pieces of horn ever being the same in coloration or size, every piece produced is unique.
