William Morris Strawberry Thief Cotton Blend Socks by Corgi is a collaboration with the William Morris Gallery, to create a sock inspired by Victorian artist’s design and ethos. Strawberry Thief is one of William Morris’s most popular repeating designs for textiles. It takes as its subject the thrushes that Morris found stealing fruit in the kitchen garden of his countryside home, Kelmscott Manor in Oxfordshire. The cotton and nylon mix is comfortable and provides an excellent fit and durability while retaining its color wash after wash. One Size. Made in Wales.

About Corgi

Cori was founded in 1892 by Carmarthenshire draper Rhys Jones. Rhys began producing thigh-high woolen socks for local coal miners. Over time, his collection grew to include finer quality socks, perfect for men to wear to church on Sunday. His attention to detail and quality soon developed a global reputation as a luxury sock brand. In 1989, Corgi was honored with the award of a Royal Warrant from HRH, the Prince of Wales, and continues to make socks for members of the Royal Family. Corgi is still a family-run business that uses traditional production methods. Their factory is located in the same mining town.
