About Wigens
The Wigens brand was founded in 1906 in Tranas, Sweden by Oscar Wigen. It was originally a fur company which later transitioned into headwear. They have since become one of the top manufacturers of caps in the world. The hats are produced in a state-of-the-art factory in Estonia where they’re blocked on individual wooden blocks made from Swedish Alder, a special wood native to Scandanavia. Wigens uses a wide variety of fabrics ranging from classic Harris Tweeds and Magee Tweeds to modern fabrics like Gortex and Loro Piana.
