In 1936, they developed the motorcycle suit that virtually every British International team wore. In 1939, they manufactured the Ursula suit, which became a standard issue for members of the Submarine Service. Today, the fifth-generation family-run company is a leader in outerwear. They are best known for their waxed jackets, which were developed to handle harsh elements in the northeast English countryside.
