The Vintage Ivy Botanical Dye Shirt by Kamakura Shirts is botanically dyed from Japanese maple leaves (red) and ginkgo leaves (yellow) from the Hasadera temple located in Kamakura. Botanical dye is a unique dyeing technique made from various natural materials such as plants, flowers, and berries to dye cotton and wool. Upholding the principle “each stitch placed with the greatest care”, this shirt is delicately and meticulously sewn together. Finished with single needle seams that look neat even on the inside, and the shirt pattern itself is elegantly curved to fit around your body. The buttons are made from natural shell, and the interlinings are non-fused. Made in Japan.
