About Wigens
The Wigens brand was founded in 1906 in Tranas, Sweden by Oscar Wigen. It was originally a fur company which later transitioned into headwear. They have since become one of the top manufacturers of caps in the world. The hats are produced in a state-of-the-art factory in Estonia where they’re blocked on individual wooden blocks made from Swedish Alder, a special wood native to Scandanavia. Wigens uses a wide variety of fabrics ranging from classic Harris Tweeds and Magee Tweeds to modern fabrics like Gortex and Loro Piana. This diversity of materials and beautiful shaped caps make Wigens hats truly one of a kind.
